Is Spartan the right employer for me?
Spartan takes pride in hiring people who enjoy working in office and light-industrial environments, as well as drivers (CLD A, B, D/E). We offer good pay, benefits and employment when you want it, at more than 60 locations across the country.

Am I the right employee for Spartan?
If you are interested in the stability of a regular employer plus the variety of working at a variety of businesses on a temporary basis, Spartan could be the ideal employer for you!

How will I get work assignments?
When you join our team, we ask that you maintain contact with us at least once per week by calling 877-4WORKNOW to keep yourself on our availability list. This means we will be actively working to find the right job for you. Our commitment is to match you to job openings that fit your skills, experience and interests. When we do, we’ll contact you and get you to work!

When will I be paid?
Spartan employees receive weekly pay for the hours worked the prior week. Paydays are Fridays 7:30 am – 5 pm. You’ll present your complete, accurate and signed time sheet to your local branch by noon on Monday and receive your direct deposit or paycheck on Friday.

Am I eligible for benefits?
As a Spartan Staffing employee, you’ll have access to a variety of benefits including health insurance, disability and life insurance, vacation pay and more. We are proud to provide our employees with a medical benefit program that begins almost as soon as you start working -- the week following your first payroll deduction. Your branch representative can discuss our other benefit programs with you.

What if I don’t like an assignment?
Our branch staff work hard to make good matches so that you can do work you enjoy and are good at, and so our customers get the right people to help their business, too. If you are unhappy with any assignment at any time, let us know as soon as you can (on a break or at the end of a shift). We will find you a more suitable position, without negative repercussions to you.

What if I like an assignment so much I want to stay on a permanent basis?
Occasionally our customers feel the same way and want to keep a Spartan employee permanently. If this happens, your branch representative will work out these arrangements on a case-by-case basis.

Spartan’s branch staff members are smart, caring, dedicated people who take time to get to know you and our customers. Our success depends on these relationships!

How long can I work for Spartan?
Your employment lasts as long as mutually agreeable. Some of our employees have been with us for 10 years or more!

Can I transfer or work for other Spartan branches across the country?
Yes – Spartan operates offices in eleven states. Your branch rep can talk with you about transferring to another Spartan office if your situation warrants.
