Our Oldsmar based client is seeking an experienced Medical Billing Clerk. You must have a strong work ethic and ability to handle all situations. This is a temporary -to- Perm. position that starts immediately. Anticipation for the part-time position to turn full-time plus in about 1-2 months.

We are looking for someone that has experience! Must have experience with Medical Billing (preferably DME), processing claims and dealing with insurance companies. Will deal primarily with Medicare patient claims.

Requirements the selected candidate will perform the following:

- Post charges to the resident ledger for billing

- Direct claims processing

- Data-entry and coding (intermediate MS Excel skills needed)

- Certified Coders are responsible for applying clinical knowledge to review evidentiary documentation from provider's offices and to use exceptional communication skills internally and externally.

This position requires the ability to perform medical record review, diagnostic coding, and other duties as assigned.

The selected candidate needs to have the following experience: ** Good analytical skills and accurate data-entry ** Minimun 1 year of medical billing and coding experience ** Must be Microsoft proficient and have GREAT customer service skills
