| Seeking product packaging designer to design containers for products, such as foods, beverages, toiletries, cigarettes, and medicines; Confers with representatives of engineering, marketing and other departments to determine packaging requirements and type of product market. Sketches design of container for specific product, considering factors, such as convenience in handling and storing, distinctiveness for identification by consumer, and simplicity to minimize production costs. Renders design, including exterior markings and labels, using paints and brushes. Typically fabricates model in paper, wood, glass, plastic, or metal, depending on material to be used in package. Makes changes or modifications required by approving. Responsibilities and duties: .Conceptualise structure design by applying engineering principles in CAD/CAM techniques for paper products such a Packaging boxes, Point of Sales display or any other paper-based creations. . Communicate with customer when necessary to rationalize design concepts. . Develop documentation (e.g structural drawings) to support the structure design process. . Acquire and practice a sound working knowledge of CAD/CAM process personally or by way of training provided the Company. Requirements: . NITEC/Diploma in Product Design . 3-5 Years of relevant working experience . Well versed in AutoCAD and Adobe software . Knowledge with manufacturing process of other packaging medium is an added advantage Must have a corrugated Background; be creative, outgoing/ personable
