Hard Work Pays Off!

Bryant, a CDL A driver, was referred to Spartan's Brandon office in September 2007 by the CDC, a program offered by Hillsborough County which helps people who have a criminal history to get back on their feet with credit, employment, housing etc. 

Bryant worked for Spartan on various temporary assignments until one day in January 2008 when he was asked to accept a last minute assignment that ended up being the beginning of his career with one of our clients.  He did such a great job that week that the supervisor asked if he could be placed on a long-term assignment.  The client was aware of Bryant's history and was willing to work with human resources to get him hired.  During the temp-to-hire period, Bryant never missed work, would go in on weekends for the drivers that needed to take off, and would even work holidays. 

As of June 6, 2008 Bryant was hired on by this client and is currently helping to put his daughter through college.
