Representatives of Spartan Staffing were on hand recently when the Mayor of Tampa, Pam Iorio, proclaimed Sept. 17-23 as "National Staffing Employee Week" in an effort to promote awareness of the staffing industry.

On hand from Spartan were Amy Orial and Dena Zorzos.

"It's a great way to promote and recognize our staffing industry," said Amy. "We work hard to bring people and work together. We can proudly say that September 17-23 is National Staffing Week."

As stated in the Proclaimation, "statistics by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and the American Staffing Association 2006, Florida staffing companies are signifacant contributors to a strong U.S. economy, employing nearly 662,000 people per day and contributing more than $2.7 billion in payroll to our state's economy."
